Born in silver spring Maryland raised in PG county Maryland, Chris "Malachi" Thomas started writing poetry which turned into music at age 14. He wrote & told stories about the struggles he and his family had to endure throughout his childhood , as well as his community which is why artists such as Bone Thugs N Harmony, Nas, Tupac Shakur and Eminem’s Inspired him and the name “The Messenger “ was born 

 

As an elementary school student Young Malachi would create fictional stories based off his favorite book at the time "Goosebumps." By 10th grade he created and wrote his first short horror film that he shared with his classmates who enjoyed his story telling abilities. He realized that he had a gift for writing and creating movie concept. Through his teens and well into his 20s he focused more on the music side , recording and performing in different venues throughout Maryland and DC. In 2012 and lasting through 2016 Malachi co-stared in local films and was an extra, while still creating his own script concept which gave birth to “Laser Vision Films” In 2017.

 

One of his 1st major roles come in 2017 in a play called "What If" which was turned into a feature film. In 2018 Malachi began working on his own 1st feature film called "Renegade" to add to his credits he starred, produced, directed and Created the soundtrack for his movie “Renegade “The film was wrapped by the fall of 2018 and premiered on April 21st 2019 at the Old greenbelt theater.

 

 

Malachi has a reoccurring  role in the web series called “Mr. And Mrs. Sonpon”. He currently working on upcoming projects both in film and music. His vision is to share with other to bring inspiration and motivation for the next generation through art & entertainment through visual happiness.
